Crafting Memorable Delivery Packs with One good Thing

There are many different unique ways to make your food packaging stand out. One Good Thing is an example of this.   They recently changed their bespoke delivery packaging for new snacks, and we helped them start! Our team brought their heads all together in order to craft memorable packaging experiences that protected the food, and enhanced branding and presentation.

Here, you’ll learn how it was done.

In the Beginning

As you may know, One good Thing had a goal: to change the snacking world with an extra option to reduce litter and single-use plastics.

The founders Kieran Stanbridge and Michael Bedford all developed an alternative to the plastic wrappers that we saw in cereal bars. They were natural snack wrapping that were made from beeswax with a “secret” coating that was completely derived from nature too.

It’s a total 100% natural replacement for the traditional paper and plastic food wrapping.

Not only is this creating snack bars without unnecessary waste, but also making them totally raw, cold-pressed, and low-carbon footprints.

Sustainable Expert Packaging

One good thing I wanted to make sure that their packaging had the very best for those delivery packs.

We were thrilled to be recognized for the green commitment, as we were a carbon-neutral sort of business that strove to give back to our environment through investment of projects every single year that would offset these emotions.

Also, all of our products are free of plastic, can be composted, recycled, and biodegrade, which is the right way to match with OGT. They had these values, and wanted to make sure that nothing they had disposed of was left behind.

We were able to offer them a wide range of eco-friendly food that was bespoke, from complete packaging to even vibrant display and gift options for their products inside.

We helped them in different ways, so that they could ship their packaging to so many others.

We had the goal of making sure that the packaging was small, protective and secure. Here’s how we made that possible.

Letterbox Sized Packaging

We knew how they wanted packaging that’s simple enough to move to others. Opting for two postal boxes to match their methods of subscription, we created different boxes that held snacks that were up to six, and larger ones that held twelve.

Despite the size differences, we made sure that they were small enough to go through the letterbox.  This helped with cultivating a hassle-free delivery.

Secure, Protective Designs

We also crafted a secure, protective design that utilized custom cut-outs in order to keep the oats and protein safely in boxes, and reduced damage risks. The boxes also folded onto themselves, offering a secure seal. This removed the need for excess packaging options and materials too, including tape.

Memorable unboxing for Customers.

Presentation meant everything, so the boxes did have to be designed in order to protect the foods during transit and enhance the brand presentation overall.

Opting for eye-catching and bright yellow on the box, with the logo as a contrasted black across the front allowed customers to know exactly what they wished to expect when the little bundle of joy slipped through that letterbox.

We also utilized so many different options for the space, opting for the available ones that are there and an interior that was positive, engaging, and perfect for the customer experience that was there.

Overall, we made sure that the delivery was hassle-free, and that the items inside were even tastier.   We also reduced that bulk while also keeping the food safely inside the packaging.
